Coach Jason Carrera is married to Michele and they have five boys, Cole 27,Kyle 20, David Scott 22, Jacob and Joel 20.  Cole graduated from the University of Alabama and Kyle attends Kennesaw State College and is studying Business. David Scott graduated from Kennesaw State and Jacob and Joel are currently enrolled in Air Craft Mechanics School. 

Coach Carrera graduated from Forest Park High School in 1984 where he played Baseball and Football. After graduation he attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga on a Football Scholarship.Coach Carrera has a degree in Marketing from Georgia State , a Masters’s in Special Education from Grand Canyon University, a specialist from Walden University, and is currently working on his Doctorate. 

Coach Carrera worked at Henry County High School for two years coaching Quarterbacks and after that spent 6 years at Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy coaching Football, Baseball and Golf. Coach Carrera held several teaching duties at ELCA and was the Offensive Coordinator for the Football Team. The next two years Coach Carrera was the Head Football and Baseball Coach at Flint River Academy in Woodbury, GA where he won a Region Championship and Region Coach of the Year in 2013. 

Coach Carrera then went to Stockbridge to assist on the Offensive side of the ball and be the Head Baseball Coach. Coach Carrera is in his 5th year as Head Coach at Meadowcreek High School and has brought the program to its current level of existence by breaking many records and creating a winning culture for our football team. Coach Carrera has been named Falcon’s Coach of the Week, Finalist for the NFL Don Shula High School Coach of the Year, the Gwinnett County Coach of the Year, and the 12 Leadership Network Coach of the Year.
